Showing Continia Banking payments in Find Entries

When you select a posted document or ledger entry in Business Central and click Find Entries, you get one list of the entries that belong to that document. Continia Banking payment entries are included in that list, so you don't have to look for the payment in a second place.

Continia Banking payment entries are included regardless of how far the payment has come:

  • The payment is still part of a payment suggestion.
  • The payment is in the payment journal and waits to be sent to the bank.
  • The payment is completed, which means it's sent to the bank and posted.

You can open a payment entry directly from the result to see the payment status, the bank account the payment was made from, and the other payment details.

  1. Open a posted document or ledger entry.
  2. Choose Find Entries.
  3. Review the list of related entries.
  4. Select a Continia Banking payment entry to open it.

If Continia Banking payment entries are related to the selected record, they're included in the results together with the standard Business Central entries.

Example

A vendor asks whether an invoice has been paid. You open Find Entries for the invoice number. The result shows the vendor ledger entry, the applied payment, and the related Continia Banking payment entry. You open the payment entry to see whether and when the payment was sent to the bank.
