Setting up the Sustainability integration
Continia Document Capture supports Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central's sustainability features, which provide you with tools to calculate and track your company's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
After you set up these features (Microsoft article), you can run Document Capture's own assisted setup to ensure the related header and line fields are added to all of your master templates.
To set up the Sustainability integration
- Search (
) for and select Assisted Setup. - Under Continia Document Capture, click Set up Sustainability.
- The following header and line fields are added to all master templates:
- Sustainability Account No.
- Fuel/Electricity*
- Distance*
- Custom Amount*
- Installation Multiplier*
- Time Factor*
- Emission CO2
- Emission CH4
- Emission N2O
Fields marked with an asterisk above, known as activity fields, aren't carried over from Document Capture templates to standard purchase invoices. Instead, Document Capture calculates the emission factor fields (i.e.: CO₂, CH₄, N₂O) in the document card. For more information, see Sustainability management overview (Microsoft article).
