Analyzing applied entries
When reviewing a payment suggestion, you may want to see the total amount being paid to each payee or account without exporting data or creating a separate report. The Applied Entries page includes predefined analysis views that let you summarize payment data directly within Business Central.
Note
To see the quick analysis views you need Advanced Mode.
These analysis views help you:
- Get a quick overview of payment amounts by account.
- Verify totals before creating a payment file.
- Analyze payment suggestions without exporting data to Excel.
- Customize the analysis if your organization needs additional fields or groupings.
Continia Banking provides two predefined analysis views on the Applied Entries page:
- (Continia Banking -) Sum per account - groups applied entries by Account Type and Account No. and calculates the total Amount to Pay for each account. Use this view to quickly verify how much is being paid to each payee or account.
- (Continia Banking -) Sum per status - groups applied entries by status and calculates the total Amount to Pay for each status. Use this view to review payment amounts across different processing stages and identify entries that require attention.
