Editing payment approval workflows
You can edit an existing payment approval workflow by using the assisted Set up approval workflows guide again. When you edit a workflow, the new version replaces the existing one. Any approval requests that are already in progress continue in the current workflow until they’re completed. After you finish editing, new approval requests use the updated workflow.

You require the CTS CB Base Admin, CTS CB Base Edit, or CTS AW Admin permission set to create or modify payment approval workflows.
To edit a payment approval workflow

Edit workflows when users are unlikely to send new approval requests. Requests submitted while a workflow is being edited might not complete correctly.
To create a new approval workflow, use the assisted Set up security setup guide.
To edit a payment approval workflow:
- Search (
) for and select Assisted Setup. - In the Continia Banking section, click Set up security.
- Follow the steps in the guided setup and make the necessary changes. For more information about the available settings, see Creating Payment Approval Workflows.
- Click Finish. All new approval requests for the relevant payment journal will now use the updated workflow.

You can also edit specific workflow settings on the Payment Journal Setup page, under the Approval Setup section.
