Business value
Until recently, whenever an outgoing eDocument encountered some sort of issue – whether it was related to failed validation, transport error, recipient rejection, or failure to link documents – you had to visually scan potentially long lists and access each individual document card to identify the issue. With this feature, all such documents are gathered in one Role Center cue, enabling you to easily and quickly identify problems and causes, navigate to source documents, view validation errors, and track resolution – all from a single place. This saves time and limits the number of missed deliveries.
Feature details
A new cue, Requiring Attention – which is included in a new eDocuments section – is introduced to a number of select Role Centers. The new cue shows eDocuments that need manual follow-up, including documents that have:
- Failed validation during sending.
- Failed transmission on the network.
- Been rejected by the recipient.
- Been orphaned (for example, invoice responses that can't be matched to any invoices).
The new eDocuments section also features two cues for outgoing documents: In Process shows outgoing network documents that are still in process, while Sent Last Week shows those sent during the past week.
