By making the process of matching invoices against purchase orders and receipts faster and more efficient, Continia will reduce the amount of time it takes to perform this procedure. The savings introduced by this feature will be particularly significant for companies with large numbers of open purchase orders and receipts.

Feature details

The matching engine will be refactored with a focus on performance, improving both header- and line-level three-way matching. Every matching configuration defined on the template level in the PURCHASE document category will be supported, including the following:

• Match invoice (receipt or order)
• Match credit memo (return shipment only)
• Match document no. fields (vendor shipment no., vendor order no.)
• Line matching fields (order no., item no., quantity, unit cost, base quantity, base unit cost, buyer order line ID)

This feature will initially be available as part of the Feature Management functionality in Document Capture 2026 R1 (version 28). From version 29, the feature will be automatically enabled in new installations.
