Note
Continia hasn't been able to get clarification on all the legal demands for the French market in time for version 25.00. Therefore, the plan is to release this feature as part of a Service Pack.
Business value
By enabling Continia Document Capture to check the signatures of incoming PDF documents like invoices and credit memos, this feature will help to prevent fraud. It may also help you meet legal requirements in France, where companies are obliged by law to sign PDF invoices and credit memos. As such requirements are likely to also be introduced in other countries in the near future, the feature will be implemented in a way that makes it universally applicable – not specific to France.
Feature details
A new vendor template setup option will be introduced, enabling you to set up Document Capture to check if incoming PDF documents have been signed correctly. The setup will also include an option that allows you to make it mandatory for PDFs to be signed.
