Important
Before creating an employee payment suggestion, you must fill in the fields Balance Account No. and the Payment Method Code on the Employee card for the existing employees.
To create employee payment suggestions:
- Use the icon and search for Payment Journals, then select the related link.
- Open the relevant journal, and on the action bar, select Home > Suggest Employee Payments.
- Define the relevant criteria for suggesting employee payments.
- Select OK to create the suggested employee payment lines.
To process employee payments:
- To process employee payments effectively using Continia Banking’s payment journal, you must first determine the payment purpose:
- Posting Expenses - if your goal is to post employee expenses that have already been recorded in a bank account, use the payment method Manual. This method allows you to update the bank ledger without transferring any funds.
- Transferring Funds - if you need to actually transfer money to your employees, select a payment method that your bank supports, such as BTD. This ensures that the system properly processes the payment and sends it to your employees' bank accounts.
