Onboarding PSD2 through BANKSapi
Continia Banking integrates with BANKSapi to support PSD2-based bank communication in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This setup enables automated retrieval of bank statements and payment initiation using PSD2 interfaces provided by supported banks.
Important
PSD2 connectivity depends on bank-specific availability and may be subject to limitations compared to newer standards. For supported banks and alternatives, see the Banks overview article.
To prepare for PSD2 onboarding through BANKSapi
Before setting up PSD2 communication through BANKSapi, ensure the following requirements are met:
- You must be able to sign in to the bank's online banking system.
To set up PSD2 communication through BANKSapi
After completing the required preparations, you can proceed with onboarding PSD2 through BANKSapi in Continia Banking.
To set up PSD2 communication:
- Search (
) for and select Bank Account Setup. - On the Bank Account Setup page, choose an existing bank account or create a new one.
- In the Communication column, select Direct Communication, then choose BANKSapi - PSD2 as the provider and click Next.
- On the BANKSapi Assisted Setup page, enter your BANKSapi credentials.
- Complete the bank authorization flow to grant access to your accounts.
- When authorization is complete, finish the setup to activate PSD2 communication.
To activate the connection and complete the setup
Once you receive confirmation from your bank, return to the Bank Account Setup wizard to establish the connection.
- Search (
) for and select Bank Account Setup. - On the Bank Account Setup page, locate the bank and confirm whether the status is set to Ready.
- Click Next to retrieve the information from the BANKSapi and establish the connection.
