New and Planned for Continia Document Capture

This article lists the features planned for release in the upcoming major release and those released as part of the most recent major release, including any features scheduled or released between these two major releases. Note that the delivery date can be any day within the specified month, and planned functionality may be postponed or not released at all (see Continia policy).

Features can also be made available for early access outside of the Feature Management program. This usually happens in connection with every major release.

One to two weeks before each major release, a full preview version will be released for the Business Central online sandbox environments.

The table below indicates the availability of all features for public preview and early access. When a feature is available for public preview or early access, a green checkmark is displayed in the "Public preview" column, along with the month in which it was released.

  1. This feature will be released in Document Capture 2025 R1.
  2. The release date for this feature is yet to be determined.
  3. The release of this feature depends on the official release of OIOUBL 3.0, which the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen) is currently working on.
  4. For the development of this feature, Continia is awaiting information about how Business Central will handle incoming documents in this regard.
  5. The first part of this feature addressed most problems related to the user update. Therefore, there's no longer need to implement the second part of the optimization.
  6. After looking into the possibilities, Continia has concluded that, for now, the use of artificial intelligence to determine account numbers wouldn't reduce processing time.
  7. Continia hasn't been able to get clarification on all the legal demands for the French market in time for version 25.00. Therefore, the plan is to release this feature as part of a Service Pack.
  8. This feature will be released in Document Capture 2024 R2 Service Pack 1.
