Business value
This feature allows sellers to electronically inform buyers that their ordered items have been sent. For buyers, it ensures that they have all shipment-related data available in electronic format rather than as attached PDFs that would need to be OCR-processed in order for them to access the data.
Feature details
When you post an order, two documents are generated: A posted invoice and a posted sales shipment. With this feature, the import and export of such sales shipments will be fully supported in Continia eDocuments. If you're a seller, this makes it very easy for you to communicate with your buyers about the shipment of ordered items. And for you as a buyer, it means that you get easy electronic access to sales shipment data straight from the source and therefore very likely to be accurate.
