Business value

To prevent the duplication of invoices due to vendors sending the same document in both PDF and XML, you’ll be able to define which format should be prioritized. The default behavior will be configurable on the document category level.

Feature details

A setting will be introduced to the Document Category page. The options will be:

  • Default - the current behavior, that is, all attachments are treated as individual documents.
  • Prioritize PDF - keeps the XML as an attachment on the PDF and, if possible, displays the XML in the Document Viewer.
  • Prioritize XML - keeps the PDF as an attachment on the XML.

If multiple PDF and XML files are received in a single email, they’ll be treated as individual documents.
