This feature provides greater flexibility for document approval. It does so by making it possible for you to change the approval paths of your documents using approval flow codes when the advanced approval workflow has been enabled.

You can now use approval flow codes with advanced approval. Approval flow codes can be used for the following document types and their corresponding advanced approval workflows:
- Purchase invoices
- Purchase credit memos
- Purchase orders
- Purchase return orders
