Understanding Continia Core
Continia Core is an internal app used in and required by all Continia solutions. Although it runs quietly in the background and is almost invisible to end users, it's a foundational component that enables Continia solutions to function correctly.
Beyond handling activation and consumption registration, Continia Core also provides several essential cross-solution capabilities. These include shared frameworks for telemetry, web communication, and other technical services used by multiple Continia apps.
In Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central online, Continia Core is installed automatically. In Business Central on-premises environments it can be installed using Continia's custom installation scripts. Because of this, you’ll see the app listed under Installed Extensions in Business Central (search (
) for and select Extension Management).
