Importing emission data from documents into environmental journals
You can record emission-related information when registering invoices and credit memos. Continia Sustainability lets you import this data directly into your environmental journals.
On the Environmental Data Sources page, specify the exact data to import before starting the process. Then go to the Environmental Journals and use the Import Data feature to add new lines. The system automatically allocates each line to the relevant Environmental Journal. After importing, you can verify the data and complete any required fields before posting, which helps to ensure accurate reporting in the Environmental Report.
To import environmental data from document lines:
Search (
) for and select Environmental Journals.
On the action bar, select Home > Import Data.
You now have the option to import to all journals or just one:
- If importing into all journals, the No. of Journal Lines column shows how many lines were imported.
- To import into a specific journal (highlighted in blue), select it and choose Import to selected journal.
Alternatively, open a specific environmental journal first, then select Home > Import Data. If emission-related data is available for the account, the lines will appear on the environmental journal page.
Review the data, then post the lines by navigating to the action bar and selecting Home > Post.
